Having worked in a civil engineering firm from the age of fifteen, Tom went on to obtain a first class degree in Design Management before working as a project manager in SW London before setting up ALCO. Tom has a wealth of experience in project management, contract administration and is proficient in all aspect of design and build.
Since leaving uni Vicky has held a number of marketing based roles and assists Tom with the day to day running of the business, obtaining new clients and office management.
Zoe gained her PA experience working as an Executive Assistant within global blue-chip companies. After taking a few years out to raise her family she now enjoys supporting Tom and his team with a variety of administration tasks. In her free time, she loves watching her boys play football on a Saturday morning – even if it’s raining!!
Jon looks after our Council House refurbishment contract and handles all day to day responsibilities, liaising with the clients and tenants and generally ensures the jobs are completed on time and on budget. He has quickly proved himself to be an invaluable asset to the company and a steadfastly reliable member of the team.
When not at work you’ll find Jon tinkering in his garage, doing DIY, or ferrying around his 4 kids!
Richard is an avid music fan and likes to spend his free time DJ’ing or playing football with his son.
Adam is a first-rate carpenter who loves a challenge, comes from a timber framing background but is adept at all aspects of general building and period property restoration. When not at work you’ll find him training his dogs or off in his motorhome.
Our man that can. General builder, bathroom fitter, tiler, window fitter. No job too big, no job too small. A real people person. When not working you’ll find him in his shed or at a car boot sale.
Having trained with his father he has a wealth of experience with domestic and commercial installation and maintenance. Nothing is too much trouble.
Ben loves all things copper and takes a real pride in his installations. Does it once and does it right!
Liam likes to spend his free time off-roading, shooting, and fishing.
In his free time, Arran enjoys tinkering with his motorbike, fishing, and playing with his kids.
When not hard at work you’ll find him tending to his vegetable garden.
Paul has a passion for woodwork and carpentry. His keen attitude and work ethic has seen him progress well within ALCO and he is an asset to the team. When not working you’ll find him fishing.
Billy is a year 2 carpentry apprentice and has learned a great deal in his short time on site with ALCO. He is dedicated and reliable and when not at work he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and playing computer games.
Harry has worked his way up through the ranks from labourer to general builder and is a valued multi-skilled asset to the team. Working predominantly on our social housing contracts Harry undertakes tiling, flooring, silicone, plumbing, and carpentry jobs with dedication and commitment. When not working he likes a party. Works hard and plays hard but gets the job done.
Jordan takes care of all our garden work for alcove strimming pruning mowing planting fencing decking. Jordans plant knowledge is second to none and a thoroughly nice chap too boot.
Having joined the team last year Reece has shown willingness and determination to find himself a place on the team. Currently working as labourer to our multiskilled team he is learning and picking up all aspects of refurbishment works and now a valued member of the team.
When he’s not at work you’ll find him playing computers or baking with his mum.
When not at work you’ll find Mack in the woodshed turning rings, bowls, and table legs.
Alex has been doing ALCO’s roof work for over 10 years and is an invaluable, meticulous, and personable part of the team.
When he’s not at work you’ll find him spending time with his girls or playing competitive chess.
ALCO, under the guidance and leadership of Tom Allen, did a superb job in the renovation of my son and daughter’s house in Guildford. Everything was completed on time, to the required standard and within budget. Tom’s project management skills are excellent and he has a fine team of tradesmen supporting him.
